Walgreens Diapers = $4.80 (shipped)

So this deal isn't quite as great as Feb 09's Walgreen diaper deal of $2.50/pack.  But I'm pretty sure Walgreens has since learned the art of not almost giving away diapers anymore. :)  This deal is still a good one!

Walgreens Brand diapers are on sale for $5.99 this week.  If your order online, you can take advantage of two deals...
1) free shipping for orders over $25
2) $10/$50 purchase (coupon code SUMMER10)
The diapers end up getting shipped to you for about $4.80 for each package.  I highly recommend the Walgreens brand-- in the realm of generic diapers, they're really great.  I believe in 2003 they were even rated by Consumer Reports as the "best buy" for diapers.

Happy Birthday to You

Okay...who doesn't like getting majorly treated on their birthday?  Here are a couple of my favorite birthday clubs....that treat our family very well.

If you sign up for Red Robin's EClub-- near your birthday you'll get a coupon for a free burger.  We just used Casey's coupon as an excuse to go there yesterday....Yum!

Here's Henry's favorite....Fuddruckers.  That boy LOVES this place.  Thankfully, Fudds also has a Fudds club you can sign up for-- and by email you'll receive a coupon for a free burger near your birthday.

Dariy Queen has a Blizzard Fan Club (look at the bottom of the page to sign up) where you get a coupon for a BOGO blizzard (buy one, get one free) to use near your birthday.  Plus, you get another BOGO coupon for signing up.

Toys R Us has Geoffrey's Birthday Club-- if you sign your kids up, they'll receive a birthday card with a $3 Toys R Us gift card to use during the month of their birthday.  Henry's been super excited to use his-- he's going to use it during his surprise trip with Casey tomorrow.

Thomas the Train is Green Bay this weekend-- SO EXCITING!  C plans to surprise H with it-- can't wait to see the surprise & pics of the fun alone time with his daddy.  Have I mentioned yet that I'm also really excited to not have to come and listen to any more of that crazy Thomas music?!? :)  We'll let the guys have the "fun".

Here are some other birthday clubs you can join-- they don't make my list of favorites, but freebies are always a good thing.

Coldstone Creamery also has  a birthday club where you get a free ice cream creation on your birthday.

Sonic Drive-In has a birthday club for kids (12 & under) where the kids get a surprise on their birthday.

Children's Place supposedly has a birthday club-- but I've never been able to get my sign-up process to work.  Has anyone else been successful?

There are a bunch of others to restaurants I either don't like or don't have near me....but take advantage of them of you'd like....Denny's, Krispy Kreme, Red Lobster, Baskin Robbins, Bob Evans, & Shoney's. (Check out Free Birthday Clubs for more info.

Let me know if you know of some other great ones that I haven't listed!  And have a great birthday.....

$3 Huggies Coupon

Many of you know to check Coupons.com often for their periodic GREAT Huggies coupons.  Right now there is another great $3 coupon on there.  (Don't forget that you can print it twice!) Here's another hint-- to be able to print out more coupons (or print one out if there happens to not be a Huggies coupon for your zip code)-- enter the zip code "63366".  Don't ask me why-- but the people who live in that zip code always get the Huggies coupons.  Must be A LOT of babies down there in Missouri or something.

Back to Life

The craziness is ending....and life is starting to go back to normal.  I never knew how much time and effort a move took when you have two little darlings running around your feet.  We moved in Memorial Day weekend and things are settling down...and we're trying our hand at doing normal life again.  Trips to the park, homemade cookies, chilling in the evenings...good stuff.

With normal life also comes couponing.  My inspiration came from the fact that my new town of residence has locally-owned grocery stores....which so far to me means that the deals are not so hot.  I'm learning that I'm going to be doing a lot of grocery shopping out of town-- which can be helpful to some of you.  I'm in love with Pick n' Save/ Copps double coupon days, so I'll do my best to share those deals as I find them each week.

Of course, I'll share any & all other deals I come across as well.

One more thing...for anyone who purchased Bath & Body Works soaps awhile back and made the unfortunate choice to buy the spray pumps...I share your pain.  Went to the store yesterday & they said that corporate is aware and trying to correct the problem.  You know the one, where the pump won't press down and when it does, it shoots so hard that there is soap foam all over your bathroom walls...and if it doesn't happen to you, it will happen to your kid coming behind you.  I returned my nine soaps and exchanged them for the normal soaps for now-- I don't need foaming soap that badly.

Enough words for now-- let's start in on the deals....
