Okay- Tiny Prints ran a great deal on Christmas cards-- bloggers could apply to post about Tiny Prints, and in exchange we each get 50 free Christmas cards. So yes-- I'm shamelessly posting about them to earn cards. Bear with me as I post what they'd like, & maybe you'll get a bit of creative holiday inspiration from it....
If I had a pic that would fit this one well, I think I'd choose this card. It's unique, cute, & simple. My kids' Christmas pic is wider, so I'll probably go with something different, though.
Usually I display Christmas cards by hanging up a darling paper garland (done with vintage Christmas scrapbook papers) and use clothespins to pin them to it. It works, but I've been doing it for a bunch of years now. This year I've got a mint green pin board I made & for Christmas put some glittered clothespins (red & white) on it to hold the Christmas cards in my kitchen. I'm excited to try something new! I've also seen the idea of painting a shutter red, putting it on the wall, & sliding Christmas cards in the slats. So many ways to try out fun displays.
One of my favorite holiday traditions with young kids is reading the Advent Book with them each year. It's the entire Christmas story from the Bible divided up into 25 pages to spread out through the month of December. The kids love opening the doors on each page to read the story, & adding an extra page of the story each day. Plus, they end up memorizing the Christmas story by the end! The book is done by Jack & Kathy Stockman-- it's beautiful & a great family tradition.
Okay, that's about all I have. I do think Tiny Prints has darling, trendy cards-- but I'm always too cheap to buy any. I'm excited to earn some free ones this year...yay for freebies!

Free Christmas Cards...an infinite amount!
Not your average Christmas card...right? That's what I thought. It's from Paper Coterie- and it's the company I'm going with for Christmas cards this year. Let's face it-- what momma has the time to upload photos to fifty different sites...just to get all of the deals? This site has a coupon that will automatically give you $36 off your order (you pay shipping.) If your order isn't quite $36, your order will then just be free. Nice, eh? I just put in numerous orders for 24 Christmas cards & paid $12.60 for shipping on each set of 24. Not bad, considering they have amazing fun designs! Here's what you need to do...
1. Go to Paper Coterie & create a Christmas card order (or order anything else you'd like...think Christmas gifts!)
2. Type in BEATHANKFUL as the coupon code when you check out.
3. Voila, you're done.
4. Repeat as many times as you need to until all cards & cute photo gifts are created & purchased.
PS. If for some reason that coupon code expires & stops working...try TIPSYHOLIDAY. It will get you $30 off. Don't ask me about the code, I don't create them...I just use them.
Thanks, MoneySavingMom!

Tons of FREE Christmas Photo Cards
It's that time again....time to send out the latest shot of your darling family. Let's see how cheap we can do it this year! Here are the free photo deals available right now. You might have to do a bit of work to take advantage of them all, but it's worth it to cut the costs!
1. Snapfish-- you can currently get 20 free 5x7 Christmas cards right now. Just use the code HPHOLIDAY11 when you check out. A couple notes: 1) Original value is $35, and all you pay is $5.99 shipping. 2) Make sure to get the 5x7 cards & choose 130 lb. Recycled Paper.
2. Ink Garden- you can choose 20 photo cards or 10 (5x7) stationary cards for the cost of $1.00! Use the code HOLIDAYCARDS at checkout. Note: You pay the shipping cost. ($3.29-$3.99)
3. Staples- you can get 20 free holiday cards. Use this coupon to get 20 free 5x7 folded Christmas cards, you can use it online or in the store.
4. My Publisher - you can get 10 free personalized 5x7 holiday cards. Use the code HAPPY10FORFREE at checkout, & free shipping is included. This deal expires 11/21/11-- so hurry!
5. Vistaprint-You can get 10 free 4x8 holiday cards, all you pay is shipping. No coupon code required, just got to the site.
6. See Here- you can get 25 photo cards (w/shipping) for $2.49. Use the code 25CARDS- you must be a new member.
7. Shutterfly - you can get 25 free cards if you agree to post on your blog about them. (according to their rules.) I applied & was accepted-- so if my almost-dead blog can qualify, so can yours! :) BUT now I'm having trouble finding the link that I applied through. When I can find it again, I'll post it.
I hope that lists helps you get started. Though it doesn't appear so, all of the links are present & working on the website names. I wrote down last year that the best photo deals came in early December-- so if you're holding out for the big deals...they hopefully should start coming in just over a week.
Happy shopping!

$2 Ibuprofen at Dollar General!
Right now you can swipe a coupon for $2 off a $3 purchase of Rexall pain or stomach medication @ Dollar General. My little girl is sick & we needed some Ibuprofen, so I made a quick run with this coupon in hand. Rexall Children's Ibuprofen was $4 - $2 coupon = $2 ! Not bad! Most of their pain meds looked like they were anywhere from $3.75-$4.00, so the coupon makes it a great deal.
I'm not going to be around to see if this could work, but if you pair the above coupon with their $5/$25 purchase coupon (good on Saturday only), this could make for some REALLY cheap medicine!
Enjoy!

A free box of clothes!
Hey, I know it's been awhile. Since the last time I was on here I got sicker than I've been in awhile...and had some time to do some thinking. And decided that I'm trying to juggle way too much during this time of 3-small-babies/children-that-keep-me-running-all-day period of my life. So I had to pretty much drop this blog. Sorry for not warning you. I still am doing deals...I just don't have the time to share them that often.
But I'm back to give a quick greeting as all of the babies are sleeping. And more importantly, so share a deal that I just can't pass up. All moms have kids' clothes coming out of their ears this time of year...and we all need new ones as this new season is upon us. So here's a free gift. In celebration of Earth Day, the website ThredUp is offering an Earth Day deal of a free $15.95 credit to new members. (Okay, if you have trouble with that link...either 1) click on the ThredUp pic above or 2) post www.threadup.com/earthday into your browser. The deal expires April 22nd.) Why is that so great? Because this site is a center for swapping boxes of gently-used babies & kids' clothes...and $15.95 is exactly the amount you need to buy a free box. No lie-- I just tried it & have a box of clothes coming for my toddler pixie. Try the site and see what you think. I hope the flowered rain coat in my box turns out to be really cute, because I could see this becoming quite addicting.
PS. They even have an "overflow" section of sizes they have an abundance of...especially ones for new babies (newborn-6 mths) for 31% off. So all preggos...take a look!
Thanks for the tip, Money Saving Mom!

Pick 'n Save this week....
It's been a busy week, and here I am sitting to post on the eve of Double Daze. I'm sorry to any of you that were counting on the coupon match-up! I'm finding myself pretty overwhelmed with this 3-kid transition-- and on some weeks feel like I'm not accomplishing anything. If I'm backlogged on sharing deals here, just know that it's because I'm getting in the absolute necessities first....like showering. Though today I still haven't gotten that shower in yet.
Here are the sites you can go to when I'm unable to post....
1. Coupon Mom-- this site just started doing coupon match-ups for Pick n' Save. You can search for grocery deals by state & find it. It's great!
2. Creative Couponing (used to be Minnesota Coupon Adventures)-- she does some great, in-depth match-ups.
I did get out today to do Double Daze & got some great deals. My best deals were done with coupons that aren't available anymore or high-value ones I got through the mail...so my personal match-ups wouldn't be too useful, anyway. But try the above sites, they did a good job this week. Hopefully next week I'll be on the ball again.
Thanks!

$2/1 Wholly Guacamole Coupon
I love this product. Fresh & yummy. And it means this busy mom doesn't have to make her own guac or fresh salsa! Wholly Guac is celebrating the new year by offering a $2/1 printable coupon (you can print it twice)-- and it is good on any Wholly Guac, Wholly Salsa, or Wholly Queso item. (Expires 1/15/11) Last week I used my two coupons to pick up guac & salsa at Pick 'n Save -- they usually were $2.99, but I paid $0.99 each. And guess what was on the top of my salsa? A coupon for 1 FREE Wholly Queso with the purchase of the salsa. So do the math with me....I bought 3 Wholly products for a total of $1.98 = one very exciting family taco night. Since we have 2 picky eaters in the house right now, it's a big deal when the love a meal! Enjoy your coupons!
